Diet and Nutrtion

Choice of diet type: What is better?

We hear a lot of debate on veganism and non-veganism. Veganism is a type of vegetarian diet that excludes eggs, dairy products, meat and all other animal-derived ingredients. Some experts claim that a vegan is at lower risk of certain diseases including diabetes and heart disease. But the fact is that a vegan diet does not guarantee a long life or freedom from diseases because a vegan diet does include unhealthy options like French fries and oily foods. Weight control is directly linked to calories we take.

But a non-vegan diet definitely increases risk of heart disease and metabolic diseases (diabetes, thyroid dysfunction).

Plant based whole food is recently identified as the most healthy diet to follow.

It is a common sense that anything natural is good for survival. It is the basic law of nature. Therefore it is recommended to follow a vegan diet at least until you achieve a healthy body weight. But it can cause vitamin B-12 deficiency which cannot be found in plant based food. This can be consumed as a supplement from the pharmacy. (Vitamin B complex)
